King of skin is a solid body butter which you apply while still in the shower. Made from Cocoa butter, shea butter, extra virgin coconut oil, organic jojoba oil, almond oil, bananas, oat milk and avocado this bar is meant to deeply moisturise.
I almost bought nivea's in shower moisturiser but after seeing many bad reviews i decided to look in Lush and see if there was an alternative that worked.
I have quite sensitive skin and dry skin and am always looking for something that deeply moisturises without irritation and is absorbed quickly. Also i find in the winter my skin feels extra horrible when i get out the hot shower into a cold bathroom so an in shower moisturiser sounded like it would save time in the winter and save me from that horrible cold feeling.
The scent ok, like the smell of coco butters but not as nice.
At first when I used this I thought i had found the holy grail of body moisturisers. It left my skin feeling throughly moisturised and lovely. However the 2nd time I used this I noticed a few negative things.. After only using it twice it had shrunk by quite a lot, It left a very slippery layer on the bath floor. The third time I used it, I decided to just use it on my legs. When I got out the shower and dried off, I realised that the tops of my arms, where I had previously applied this product, felt even more dry than usual..
I love Lush and have found all other product I've used to be amazing, But I am so disappointed with King of skin.. Its nearly all gone after only 5 uses, leaves a dangerous slippery layer in the bath, and I personally found it dried out some of my skin..
